Salary: 

Prospective Adopters Assessments - £2,500 per assessment (additional hours for matching, placement support and Annex A) 

Adoption Support Needs Assessments - £336 per assessment based on 12 hours (additional hours for complex assessments agreed case by case)

Reporting to: Team Manager 

We are currently looking to increase our pool of independent social workers who are able to work with families who live in the Adoption West region. This includes Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Wiltshire, South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire.

Work may include adoption assessments (Stage 2) linking and matching, making and supporting placements, writing Annex A reports and/or Adoption Needs Assessments.

You will need to be registered with Social Work England and have at least three years post-qualifying experience, preferably with some in adoption.
