Digital Integration Services Wiring Engineer – 55820 – Basildon (Hybrid) Up to £22.87/hr – Inside IR35 – Rate will increase to £35.65/hr after 12 weeks

Do you have experience working in an electrical distribution systems environment specialising in automotive wiring design and development? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative automotive company recruit a Digital Integration Services Wiring Engineer, and the role comes with an initial contract rate of £22.87 per hour.

In your first few weeks in this Digital Integration Services Wiring Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Writing wiring specification & able to understand engineering drawings
• Interfacing with Systems Engineering team on logical and physical schematic development
• Support System and Functional level design reviews of electrical schematics (Compatibility reviews) where appropriate with suppliers
• Collaborate with Wiring Suppliers to define the correct specification unique to application
• Lead prototype & low fidelity prove out physical builds
• Performing system level verification and validation and provide system level sign off

To apply for this Digital Integration Services Wiring Engineer role, you will need the ability to work directly with customers and excellent communication and presentation skills. You will also require the following:

• Working within or experience of commercial vehicles and conversions
• Experience working in electrical distribution systems environment working with automotive wiring design and development
• Experience of 2D design tool for wiring drawing
• Experience in a workshop/hands on environment
• Ideally engineering degree in electrical field but open to other qualifications if experience/skill set is suitable
