We are currently looking for a UKexperienced
Payroll Administrator to joinour team on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract .As part of our continuous development and growth strategy, we arelooking for a payroll professional to join our HR Operationsdepartment on a hybrid working contract, with some working requiredfrom our Ashford office each week.
Reportingto the Payroll Manager, within this role you will be expected toprocess UK payroll operations, whilst ensuring accuracy,timeliness, and compliance through the research, development andadministration of efficient payroll policies and operatingprocedures. You are happy to be "hands-on" in all aspects of ourteam's work. Most of all, they are colleague-service oriented withexcellent critical thinking and communication skills.
Key Acountabilities &Responsibilities: - ProcessUK monthly payroll in an accurate and timely manner (in accordancewith UK legislation and monthly deadlines on SAPsystem).
- Administer payroll related details onour HR/Payroll system including, but not limited to joiners,leavers, changes, benefit enrolments, absence, BACS & CHAPSpayments, third party payments, payslips, HMRC/ tax codes and endof year processing
- Perform reconciliations andaudit tasks for monthly payrolls.
- Carry out theaccurate transmission of banking payments and bank accountsreconciliation.
- Provide a high level ofcustomer service via colleague self-service systems, e-mails,in-person and online, in a variety of queries of varying complexityto our workforce.
- Continuously look to improvethe efficiency of day-to-day payroll operations through workprocesses improvements.
- Advise on compensation,legislation, benefits and tax relatedissues.
- Work in collaboration with Finance,Treasury, Human Resources and Regional Teams on project initiativesand other system enhancements & testing as and whenrequired.
You'll needto have: - Previous inhouse UK payroll experience
- Demonstrate currentand up to date UK payroll knowledge of legislation including PAYE,NI, SMP, SSP, NIC RTI
- Ability to calculatemanual salary and tax calculations
- Workingknowledge of SAP Payroll/HR system.
- Attentionto detail and accuracy in every aspect of the role isessential.
- Ability to deal with complex issues,identify solutions and implement them underpressure.
- A proactive team player who can addvalue whilst meeting tight daily, weekly, monthly and annualdeadlines.
- Excellent communication skills(written and verbal).
- Excellent knowledge ofExcel (vlookups, pivots) andMS365.
We'd love tosee: - P60 and P11dexperience is advantageous
- Knowledge of SAPsoftware systems
- Experience / participation inprojects
- Additional languageskills
