Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Central London, who are looking to appoint an Income Officer on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Southwark, with hybrid working (3 days home working) and a salary of £35,000.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience chasing former and current tenant rent arrears and have represented organisations in court.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing up 1000 customer rent accounts
Refer tenants to welfare benefits and debt support services
Prepare and submit cases for court
Maximise income collections while minimising risk of repossession#
Attend evictions when necessary and carry out home visits
Experience required:
Experience working with customers within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment and management
Financial management and budgeting
Preparing court bundles
Strong customer service and complaint handling
