SEN Teaching Assistants Required at a Primary School in Burnley (BB10)

- 2 x SEN TA Roles at Primary School in Burnley

- Full time Roles, due to start 15th April 2024

- Competitive rates of pay dependant on experience

A Primary School in Burnley, East Lancashire are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants to join their staffing team on a full-time basis after the Easter holidays. The school are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants to support children with special educational needs across the school on a 1:1 and small group basis. 1 Teaching Assistant will be based in KS1 and the other in KS2.

The school are keen to recruit 2 proactive educators who are looking to enhance their careers in education. If you have recently completed you're degree, are looking to support learners with SEN and are looking to build up your school-based experience before applying for your PGCE or MA then this could be the perfect role for you!

The Head Teacher is looking for 2 individuals who will support children with a range of special educational needs. The role will be classroom based and will involve planning sessions, assessing learning and working closely with class teachers and the schools SENDCo to help the identified children with their development. The needs of the children include ASC, ADHD, SEMH and PMLD. Prior experience supporting children with SEN would be desirable but isn't essential as consistent support will be provided by the class Teachers and the successful TAs will be put on relevant training courses.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
