We are hiring a Cloud Consultant specializing in Green Fintech. You will play a pivotal role in our mission to integrate sustainable practices into the heart of financial technology.
Leveraging your extensive experience and expertise in cloud technologies, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing cloud solutions that drive our green fintech initiatives. Your role will combine technical proficiency with a deep understanding of our commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness.

This initiative is dedicated to making strategic investments in eco-friendly projects, companies, and initiatives that align with our commitment to environmental preservation. By allocating resources towards sustainable endeavours, we aim to lead the way in creating a greener future while establishing ourselves as a forward-thinking and environmentally conscious organization.
Role responsibilities
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that align with our Green Credit Investment Initiative. These solutions will be integral in supporting our sustainable fintech projects and ensuring their scalability
You will employ your expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to architect and deploy cloud-based infrastructure that is efficient, scalable, and environmentally conscious
You will develop and implement monitoring and alerting solutions, utilizing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or other relevant monitoring technologies. This proactive approach will help identify and address environmental and operational issues in a timely manner
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar enabling rapid and reliable deployment of green fintech solutions
You will leverage your scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) to automate routine tasks, reduce energy consumption, and enhance the efficiency of day-to-day operations across our green fintech projects
You will ensure the optimal performance and availability of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, facilitating efficient data storage and retrieval for analysing and reporting on our green investments
You will manage SSL/TLS certificates, DNS configurations, and TCP/IP settings to ensure secure and compliant access to vital green fintech data
You will provide support for applications developed in languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, and frameworks like Django, Ruby on Rails, and others, emphasizing the seamless integration of sustainability principles
You will implement robust security measures including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication methods to protect sensitive green fintech data
You will advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, instilling reliability and sustainability into the foundation of our green fintech software solutions
You will architect, deploy, and manage green fintech infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, ensuring scalability and cost effectiveness
You will integrate RESTful APIs and generate reports that quantify and communicate the environmental impact and progress achieved through our green fintech investments
You are eligible for this role if
You have 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Consultant with a strong emphasis on cloud architecture, deployment, and sustainability
Your proficiency spans a wide range of cloud technologies, including but not limited to AWS, Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and scripting languages like Python and Bash
You possess a diverse skill set that extends beyond tools, encompassing multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, and familiarity with frameworks like Django and Ruby on Rails
Your understanding of authentication mechanisms like OAuth and JWT, coupled with your ability to integrate RESTful APIs, underscores your capability to design secure and resilient systems
While an AWS certification or equivalent cloud expertise is a plus, your broader perspective aligns with a genuine commitment to sustainable practices in the fintech domain
Your problem-solving skills and adaptability enable you to excel in complex scenarios, embodying the dynamic nature of a Cloud Consultant who navigates challenges while upholding automation, sustainability, and continuous improvement
Your experience in aligning cloud solutions with green initiatives, coupled with your technical acumen, positions you as a valuable asset in the evolving landscape of green fintech and sustainable technology
