Job description
Please see attached Job Description and person spec. You will be a Registered Nurse (NMC) /Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC) or a student nurse/trainee ODP approaching the end of your training, previous experience of working in an operating theatre is therefore essential. Due to the nature of our work the post will involve working rostered days, weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays. Multi- skilling and rotation between specialities is also encouraged and supported within the department. We have 13 elective/trauma theatres which include:- General Surgery Trauma and Orthopaedics Anaesthetics and Recovery ENT and Dental Gynaecology Urology We also have 2 further theatres which have a dedicated 24hr Emergency team to cater for Emergency surgery and Maternity theatres needs.
