Lunchtime SEN Support Assistant for ASD Student

Job Type: Part-time (5 days a week), 2 hours per day

Working Hours: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Role Overview: As a Long-Term Lunchtime SEN Support Assistant, you'll provide crucial one-to-one support for an ASD student during lunchtime. This role, ideal for those seeking flexibility, particularly mothers and part-time positions, aims to create a positive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with Daily Activities: Aid the student in navigating lunchtime routines, encouraging social interactions and communication skills development.

Behavioral Support: Implement strategies to address behavioral challenges, collaborating with the school's SENCO for individualized support plans.

Communication with Parents and Staff: Maintain open communication with parents and school staff, providing regular updates on the student's progress.

- Experience with ASD or special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
