Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to various destinations across the UK.
- Carry out comprehensive vehicle checks before and after each shift, ensuring roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including delivery notes and mileage logs.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies to ensure a high level of safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license and Driver CPC.
- Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, preferably within a similar industry.
- Exceptional driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and current traffic regulations.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining focus and delivering excellent results.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a high regard for safety.
