Job description

Acorn Education Trust is looking for a dynamic and talented Head of Marketing and Communication to join our central team and provide strategic and operational support across our Trust and its Wiltshire-based schools.

Working Hours: Part-time (37 hours per week, term time plus four weeks – 43 weeks per year, includes Teacher Training Days). Salary: £13.93 - £14.91 per hour (£26,873 - £28,770 FTE). Required: May 2024. Other: Option to swap some term time days for holiday working.       

At Acorn, we pride ourselves on transforming education locally, with our two nurseries, fifteen primary and three secondary schools being at the heart of their local communities. In this senior executive post, you will be responsible for developing key marketing strategies to enhance and further develop the external presence our Trust, while ensuring a consistent and uniformed approach to communications and supporting our schools to follow Trust guidelines.

Successful candidates will report to the Strategic Business Partner, line manage the Central Administrative Assistant and be primarily based at our central hub in Warminster. The role will involve travel to school sites at times so a driving license is beneficial. This is an exciting opportunity to be an ambassador for the whole Trust and embody the value, vision and ethos of Acorn in all interactions.
