About Our Client
Our client are a well-known leader in FMCG distribution.
Job Description
You will be responsible for day to day operations of a 24/7 site that is technology-driven. You will manage warehouse and transportation teams as well as some other specialist areas of the site. You will drive operational excellence at the DC, keeping customers and people at the centre of all business decisions. Your responsibilities will be split across the following core areas and you will need to be able to demonstrate a track record within each:
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have managed at a similar level within FMCG environment. Alternatively, you will have great experience within contract logistics and have experience closely managing customers and their expectations. Candidates will need to demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen and have had exposure to budgets and P&L. Experience managing within a unionized environment would be helpful. This role offer realistic opportunities for progression and candidate will need to demonstrate a willingness and ability to progress beyond this role in the future.
