Job description

In this role, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for generating new corporate business for the Resort. You will play a key part of the overall Marketing Plan, meeting or exceeding targets relating to revenue growth, profit margin, mix of products and services sales, customer retention and new business.

Understanding our wild and adventurous brand, you will act as the main contact for sales of corporate tickets, buyout days, meetings and events, and deliver regular FAM trips and show-rounds for key clients.

 

You will be responsible for producing weekly reports discussing prospects, tentative and secured deals. You will focus mainly on the theme park, however, may work alongside the Hotel Sales Manager to secure any opportunities for the Resort. You may also be required to support our central sponsorship team in maximising sponsorship opportunities for Chessington, as well as supporting other sales opportunities for the resort as required.

 

Monitoring financial performance of existing accounts against targets, you will effectively forecast and implement any corrective actions through sales and marketing strategies, as well as develop new products and packages based on research within the Meetings & Events industry.

You will work closely with the Marketing Director and Sales Manager (Schools) to develop and deploy short and long-term sales plans.
