About the Job
Do you want to own the ongoing management and relationships with our Global Carriers for customer (B2C & B2B) & retail store deliveries carrier & manage as well as manging the delivery tracking software?
Do you have experience of managing couriers to provide the best service, transit times and costs for the business - and shipments to the agreed standards, with escalation on major service issues?

This is a new role, focussing on removing unnecessary cost of goods, through providing information and visibility of carriage costs & service, as part of the Logistics Planning Management team.
To do this you will manage commercial contracts with the carriers, ensuring balance of the key metrics including pricing is in line with business needs. You will run reviews with couriers at appropriate frequencies, ensuring key actions are undertaken.
Working closely with the data available, via analysis teams, you will continually improve key metrics and ensure trends are factored into ongoing planning, as well as tracking performance to the operational requirements.
