THE COMPANY

Our client is a market leader in its field – supplying content to the travel industry. With the backing of a major group behind it, the company operates from offices on multiple continents.

THE ROLE

As SVP Media Supply Chain, you will be responsible for running media and metadata operations, managing cross-functional teams, defining and delivering workflows, as well as partnering with client account, content acquisition and technology teams delivering value for the business and its clients. 

Key responsibilities:

• Define and direct the supply chain and operational processes to fulfil content deliverables and metadata to various platforms.
• Monitor performance and identify improvements to the business's workflows to increase efficiency and productivity. 
• Manage relationships with 3 rd party labs and integrators.
• Set and maintain operational budgets. 
• Improve profitability through initiatives such as streamlining, offshoring parts of the process, use of technology and AI.
• Lead the global operations team. 
• Collaborate with account teams on future strategy and ensure resources and budgets are in place.
• International travel will be expected as required to clients, business partners (integrators) and international offices. 

THE PERSON 

As a senior leader, you will have extensive knowledge and experience in an operational supply chain role within a media environment and be able to demonstrate stakeholder management and resolution of issues successfully. 

You will need to have proven experience in managing a large volume of media assets and metadata. 

It is essential that you can hit the ground running, being fully conversant with current technology and people-orientated environments.
