An exciting opportunity for a Barista Manager to join the Surrey Sports Park Campus Service Catering team, working as part of a team to provide food service and preparation to customers within Catering outlets and to locations throughout the campus.  

You'll contribute towards the smooth running and reputation of Catering Services, with responsibility for the operational day-to-day management of individual units and for actively contributing to their success. You'll act as the main point of contact for customers regarding service queries and issues and supervise the work of the team to ensure the operational efficiency of the cafes.

This role has responsibility across multiple sites to ensure that our standards are maintained. You will manage a number of full time, part time, and temporary workers to ensure a consistent service level is achieved throughout the year. Food ordering, stock management, staff training and excellent customer service will all form part of the daily activities. Managing financial trackers and monitoring unit staff expenditure, costs and income will also be carried out.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage the day-to-day operational running of individual units, overseeing brand service standards, quality whilst supporting team members to deliver an efficient service. Duties will include staffing rotas, record keeping, stock rotation and ordering, quality control, building security and dealing with customers regarding service queries and issues.
• Ensure that units are running in line with set KPI’s and within budget, contributing towards the driving of sales and efficient service to deliver profit.
• Work with the Group Cafes Manager to ensure that Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance is being met in the Unit.
• The post holder will need to act as a liaison between Team Members and Management when necessary.
• To ensure that supplies are maintained at the right level, both at opening and during the day.
• The post-holder will be expected to fully manage stock levels and ordering.
