Job description
- *Early years Practitioner/Nursery Nurse in Northwood**
- *Full time (40 hours)**
- *Salary up to 26000 dependant on qualification and experience**
We are seeking an Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join the team at this Northwood nursery.
To apply for this role you will be passionate about working with children, watching them develop under your care and looking to continue your career with a reputable nursery.
You will be a driven and committed individual with a child centred approach with experience in Early Years education. You must have excellent written and spoken English and have experience working in a similar role.
Level 3+ Qualification desirable, however Unqualified and Level 2 Candidates with experience and passion to develop a career in early years will also be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To implement appropriate planned schemes of activities, work and programmes for Nursery children in partnership with the Lead Teacher. To deliver programmes of work and evaluate their success in conjunction with the Lead Teacher.
- To ensure that personal, physical, social, spiritual, emotional, cultural and moral needs are adequately addressed and to be actively involved in supporting children in their achievements of planned objectives and goals.
- To encourage the involvement of children and parents/ carers in the curriculum and running of the Nursery in order to promote the child’s self-esteem. To undertake good and effective communications with all staff and parents / carers.
- To ensure that key children’s needs are met, assessments and observations are up to date; complete the formative/ summative assessments in time
