Job description
Overview: We're looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist to analyze biological data and develop computational methods and tools for biomedical research and healthcare applications. You'll be responsible for analyzing genomic, proteomic, and clinical data to extract insights and support scientific discovery and medical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze genomic, proteomic, and clinical data using bioinformatics tools and algorithms.
- Develop computational methods and algorithms for analyzing and interpreting biological data.
- Implement bioinformatics pipelines for processing and analyzing high-throughput sequencing data.
- Collaborate with biologists, clinicians, and data scientists to translate biological data into actionable insights.
- Stay updated with advancements in bioinformatics, genomics, and biomedical research.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
- Experience in bioinformatics roles, with proficiency in bioinformatics tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Perl).
- Strong understanding of molecular biology, genetics, and statistical analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
