The Deputy Nurse Manager will have the following skills and experience:

• RGN/RMN with active PIN
• Proven track record of successful home management.
• Sound knowledge of Care Standards
• Dynamic & Enthusiastic
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff

Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Nurse Manager

• Staff management- maintaining the team/ appraisals/ training
• Care plans/ reviews/ meetings
• Build and maintain rapport with staff/residents/their families & all external bodies
• Undertake assessments of other staffs and review care packages
• Be a role model for staffs and service users

The home itself if circa 50 beds and the CI grades are have recently dropped so a strong Deputy is needed to take them back to the dizzy heights of 5's! The home caters for a range of residents predominantly the elderly & those living with dementia.
