Commercial Analyst

Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE) + Benefits - Pension, Private Healthcare, On-Site Parking etc

Location: Warrington

Duration: Permanent

Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Commercial Analyst for a well-established and growing Catering business based in Warrington. The company has gone through a sustained period of growth in recent times and as a result an exciting opportunity has opened up within the Commercial team.

This Commercial Analyst opportunity would be perfect for someone who has a strong data background and enjoys working with large sets of data. The role will enable you to evaluate data and drive commercial decision making, with the opportunity to partner with a variety of stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyse data using various analytical tools such as Power BI and techniques to identify trends, patterns and variances
• Prepare regular reports around cost and profitability and the performance of contracts with suppliers
• Taking ownership of current models and how they can be improved
• Analysing logistics routes and how the business can reduce freight costs
• Interrogate data to ensure high levels of accuracy and informed decision making

The ideal Commercial Analyst candidate will have:

• Strong data analytics experience whether in your degree or industry setting
• Ability to evaluate and drive commercial decision making
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to present data to senior stakeholders and back up your findings
