Head of HR – Lifestyle Fashion Brand

The Head of HR is responsible for managing the HR department to provide timely and best practice service on all areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, policies, employment law, training, health and safety and payroll,
Key responsibilities
- Managing the recruitment and onboarding process
- Overseeing appraisal and employee development systems which align with the company culture, business strategy and commitments.
- Developing and managing the HR budget feeding into the company budget.
- Manage, develop and maintain company HR policies ensuring consistent application across the business.
- Ensuring that the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures and legislation (including legislation on the Equality Act and health and safety).
- Driving a continuous improvement agenda to strengthening employee performance, employee relations, organisational culture, engagement & welfare.
- Leading on the HR department systems and processes to ensure they are effective, efficient, meet good practice standards and legal requirements.
- Championing and executing an open culture of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) throughout the company which reflects company values
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Experienced HR Manager / Business Partner with the knowledge and experience to take ownership of all HR and payroll systems and processes and an in depth knowledge of employment law
- The ability to develop and nurture relationships across departments.
- The confidence to provide sound professional advice.
- The ability to lead the development of effective employment policies.
- A pro–active attitude and work ethic, a passion for leading with integrity.
- Superior interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable manner.
- A curious mindset, to think innovatively and rationally about concerns and come up with creative solutions
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise, problem–solve and use initiative.

Salary c 60,000 – 70,000 + Benefits.
