Creche Worker (On Course) - Grade C

Family Learning Creche Worker Job Description
We are looking for a provider who has Level 2 or 3 Qualified Creche workers who are passionate, experienced, and reliable. To work as part of On Course South West’s, Family Learning provision to providing appropriate, high quality, stimulating childcare at no cost to parents, to support parents and families in accessing learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver outstanding creche provision in order for parents to attend learning programmes. Under no circumstances can a child be left in the crèche if the adult responsible for him/her is not present at the learning session.
• Supported childcare offers early years programmes that include intergenerational learning.
• Setting up resources and creche facility area within community settings.
• Communicate and work with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children.
• Monitor children’s wellbeing during the session and report to parents/carers if any concerns.
• Have passion for the Childcare industry.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children.
Criteria
• Experience within Early Years Education
• Knowledge of the EYFS
• Full and Relevant Level 2 or 3 Early Years education and childcare qualification or equivalent is a must.
• All staff have up to date Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks
• All staff hold a current Paediatric First Aid certificate
Location
• Creches will be delivered in locations in the Plymouth travel to work area. This will include schools and other learning venues with suitable accommodation.
• A driving licence is desirable.
Hours of work
• The creche duration will be for 2 hours with an extra half an hour paid at the beginning and end of each session to support the efficient safe creche set up and pack down.

Hours Per Week: 12.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 11:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.18
Location: Plymouth, South West England
