We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at Dematic. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the overall regional business development direction, with a focus on the UK/Ireland and Nordic markets. In close coordination with the Business Development Director, EMEA leadership, and Marketing, you will contribute to region-based market intelligence, customer data, analytics, and demand generation activities.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate proactively with regional sales, marketing, and EMEA/global business development teams to identify target vertical and regional markets, supporting sales teams in driving incremental orders.
  2. Lead, own, and execute regional lead-generation campaigns to boost the sales pipeline and enhance lead conversion.
  3. Establish, manage, and continuously improve the lead generation process for the region, utilizing Salesforce as the global lead management tool, ensuring high accuracy of data.
  4. Contribute to the design, development, and execution of the growth strategy, including 3-year forward-looking strategic planning processes, such as go-to-market plans and customer analysis.
  5. Drive regional competitive positioning by gaining insights into customer priorities and future ambitions, evaluating implications, and providing recommendations to the sales teams.
  6. Oversee the progress of internal strategic projects in coordination with the GCO teams, such as market entry, Win-Loss analysis, and regional market sizing efforts.
  7. Develop and orchestrate initial contact with prospects/customers, assist in preparing and presenting customer presentations, and ensure the availability of up-to-date product and market information.
  8. Manage the relationship with industry-specific associations and contribute to the development of external messaging/value propositions in collaboration with the marketing team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. 8+ years of successful experience in leading and driving business development, market development, or regional-based growth development.
  2. Proven track record of collaborating and achieving data-driven results in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree is preferred.
  4. Experience in sales and/or business development in a B2B service-oriented industry.
  5. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures related to the area managed, with a basic understanding of other areas within the company and their interdependencies.
  6. Diligent in ensuring data accuracy and proactive in developing innovative ideas.
  7. A strong team player who can think both locally and with a holistic view of the wider EMEA group.
