Job description
An experienced BID Writer required on a Permanent basis for a Leading Engineering based client based in Nottingham.
The purpose of the BID Writer is to be responsible for all aspects of BID writing including:
- Assist the Pre-Construction Manager in developing a bid structure.
- Lead and facilitate face to face storyboard session workshops
- Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant
- Write / edit responses for bids, client presentations and sales collateral.
- Co-ordinating all aspects of BID Writing.
- Researching procurement opportunities
- Collecting information from relevant sources
- Communicating with external and internal stakeholders
- Supporting in all aspects of the BID process
Key Skills:
- Strong time management / prioritisation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communicator.
- Strong written English language skills and wide vocabulary.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong team player.
- Driver's license (due to potential UK based travel)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree educated (ideally English) or equivalent.
- Professional writing background.
- Certified to APMP Foundation or Practitioner Level.
- Salary £40- £45k dependent on experience
