Job description

The starting salary for these roles ranges from £7,344 - £11,016 per annum dependant on hours worked and on individual or whole class teaching. Please see below for more information.

Surrey Arts is the lead youth music organisation in Surrey, and we provide music lessons, instrument hire, out of school music centres, activities and ensembles for young people.

About the role

We now have opportunities for Guitar/Ukulele Teachers to join our talented team of experienced and committed teaching staff. Across 33 weeks of the academic year, you will deliver high quality and innovative music education to children and adults at various schools and venues around the county.

In this role, you will be supported by a team of Administrators and an Area Manager to organise your schedule and timetables. You will also be provided with annual paid CPD and training opportunities.

You will join a team dedicated to "changing lives through world class arts". Surrey Arts is an ambitious and forward-thinking organisation that places young people at the centre of our work. We are committed to developing Surrey Arts as a genuinely inclusive organisation, and one that meets the needs of the whole diverse community of Surrey.

This is a peripatetic role where teaching takes place during the school day, after school and at the weekend, at various schools and music centres in Surrey.
