Our Clients Hospital is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our fantastic Theatre team. Working across a rota that covers 7.30am – 9pm Monday to Saturday you will provide support during procedures and have first class long term career development opportunities.
We offer comprehensive private hospital services, ranging from outpatient clinics and physiotherapy to surgery and diagnostic tests in a relaxed, clean and comfortable environment. The hospital has 24 inpatient beds and 16 day case rooms called ‘pods’. Facilities include four operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, 2 extended recovery unit, pharmacy, x-ray, outpatient and diagnostic facilities.
Duties and responsibilities:
Working as a HCA in Theatres you will be responsible for supporting the team during procedures. This will include ensuring the correct instruments are prepared, opening sterile packs and some patient transport. Within this role there is a key focus on infection control as you assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and Theatres as a whole whilst providing first rate car to our patients.
