Teaching Assistant | Westminster, W9 | £85-£105 per day | Long-term to Permanent | ASAP

LTF are working with a local Primary School in Westminster who require an experienced Teaching Assistant to start this new half-term. They are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in the year 3 classroom, carrying out interventions and supporting young learners working towards their learning targets and improving academic attainment.

The role:

• Assisting the teacher in delivering work with the children in the class
• Working 1:1 and in small groups with year 3 pupils, supporting with their understanding and attainment
• Developing curricular knowledge as required by the school
• Undertaking observations of pupils and contributing to pupil records
• Planning and leading targeted interventions to support pupils in development areas

Essential requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant
• Experience working with primary aged pupils
• A relevant Teaching assistant qualification or degree
• A positive, can-do approach
