Job description
The successful candidate must possess high level business development and technical expertise from within the EV, street lighting, highways lighting, VMS or highways electrical sectors.The position is working from home, with travel required to clients and sites across the UK and ROI.

Overview
Due to continued expansion and the commitment to sustained and profitable growth, our client now wishes to appoint a highly motivated and industry experienced Head of Sales & Business Development. Reporting to the main board of Directors, the main purpose of this role will be to take responsibility for managing the development of new business opportunities and partnerships for projects ensuring maximum market exposure, and that clients and partners receive a high–quality service. The successful candidate will also support all major work winning and preconstruction activities, ensuring successful project acquisition and safe operations. This role allows you the opportunity to work with high profile clients, build out the company s customer base and make it your own, as you will be involved in the early development stage of projects both from a sales and engineering perspective. You will target the strategic opportunities in order to deliver medium and long term growth and profitability. Key to the success of this role will be developing, managing and maintaining successful relationships with relevant local authorities and associated partners in the pursuit of additional opportunities.
