Job description
Sponne is a successful, over-subscribed community comprehensive school with 1430 students aged 11-18 on roll with 170 staff. The school is part of Tove Learning Trust, comprising of thirteen schools and also has a training school and the Grand Union Partnership on site.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented full time Progress Learning Leader who will lead the team of tutors for a year group. Initially this will be a predetermined year group but PLL’s experience years 7-11 and rotate with their year group. The role has a teaching commitment and all subject specialisms can be accommodated.
We are looking for leadership that will make an early impact. You will need to be secure in your own outstanding teaching to take on this high level role within the school and have proven experience of making a positive impact on the learning of groups of students through the monitoring of academic progress.
The successful candidate will:
· Have Qualified Teacher Status
· Have excellent teaching skills
· Have a desire to make a difference to the learning of students
· Meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure
· Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
