HOURS: 07.00 – 15.45 Monday to Thursday and 07.00 – 11.30 Friday
START DATE: Immediate
PAY: Starting rate - £11.20 - £11.40ph (Dependant on Experience)
Permanent job via a three-month trial

Job: Skilled Electrical Assembler and Soldering Operative

Ess Employment Ltd are looking to recruit a candidate to join our local client based in Stonehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for the soldering or hand assembly of PCB assemblies.

Responsibilities:
1. Soldering/hand assembly of PCB assemblies, following documented procedures and using equipment provided to defined workmanship standards (i.e. IPC class 3).
2. Immediate reporting of shortages on shop floor orders to supervision.
3. Feedback of problems with production equipment, production processes and product quality as appropriate and immediate reporting of faulty equipment to supervision
4. Ensuring production equipment used is within calibration and safety test dates where required.
5. Accurate recording of pass/fault info on tracking database or paper records in accordance with procedures.
6. Counting and stock checking material.
7. The handling of all goods in accordance with standard practice including ESD, Moisture sensitivity and shelf-life procedures.
8. Any other activities assigned by supervision/management that are relevant to the job function.

Essential Requirements
1. Previous soldering experience
2. Previous hand assembly experience
3. Experience in component recognition.
4. Previous experience of electronics manufacturing
5. Good communication skills.
