The Employer is: APEX MEDIA AND PRINT LTD.
Apex are seeking a skilled Junior Graphic Designer, to work alongside our team, someone who may have recently graduated. We work with mixed media, (Websites, Graphic Design, Digital print, Signage and Large format printing.
The individual will be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud including, In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, An Understanding of Website Design and Social media would be a bonus.
As will be confident using the telephone and having an eye for detail..
Responsibilities
- Create engaging and visually appealing designs for digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, exhibitions, posters, logos and more.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and design consistency.
- Inputting your ideas for marketing campaigns and strategies.
- To work and report alongside your team and complete the delegated tasks.
- Creatively able to come up with new ways to engage with our customers via social
media.
- Keeping up to date with current social media trends and implement them to keep Apex current and engaged with customers.
- Have excellent organisational skills and be able to use own initiative.
- Keep customers up to date with our services and responding to queries, passing those onto relevant team members if needed.
- Understand the Apex audience and post relevant content on social media.
- Researching printing companies for merchandise, leaflets, posters etc.
- Research our target audience and creating media to appeal to customers.
- Creating social media posts and reviewing the analysis, collecting data and creating reports.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Knowledge and experience in using Adobe creative programmes, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
- Relevant certification or professional training in graphic design.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory etc.
- Strong communication skills within the team.
- A portfolio demonstrating your creativity, technical skills and ability to execute design projects.
- Bachelors (preferred).
