Job description
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager for work for a multi-site hospitality business for 4-6 months based in Central London.
Responsibilities:
- Budgeting - templates, summaries, comparisons, checking for validity and seasonality, making sure corresponding direct expenses are present, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, P&L
- Monthly Re-forecasting - templates, actualising, balancing P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
- Bank reporting - covenant calculation, KPIs, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, P&L
- Management accounts - supervision of updating, revenue reconciliation check, making sure expense allocation is correct, making sure all accounting tasks for month end, quarter and year end are completed, checking and investigating variances in margins, expenditure, analysing over or underspend, analysing stock takes, looking for savings, making sure variances are explained
- Year End Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Inter-company balances reconciliations
- Bank Accounts reconciliation checks
- Preparing weekly reports for investors with comments, any other ad-hoc reporting
- Approving costings for menu items
- Creating schedules to help with reconciliations, month end closures
- Payroll for outsource company providing information to outsourced payroll company, checks on correct pay, allocations, recharges, payroll journals
- Payroll for operating companies (120ppl) making sure all payments done correctly to avoid under or over payments, making sure new starters and leavers are added, making sure all adjustments are done correctly
- Presenting weekly and monthly reports to the wider team and directors
