Marketing and Products Director

We are working exclusively with an extremely well–known, European leading organisation on the lookout for a Marketing and Products Director to join their team in Warwick. As the Marketing and Products Director, you will spearhead strategic initiatives to drive growth and enhance market presence. You will lead a dynamic team, leveraging your expertise to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies and product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and motivate the Marketing Communications and Product Management team
• Overall responsibility for all elements of the Marketing Communications mix; Digital Marketing, Events, Advertising, PR and Literature
• Overall responsibility for the Product strategy in the UK and the requirements of NPD
• Together with the National Sales Directors help develop and deliver the annual Sales and Marketing plans across all sectors
• An active member of the UK Exec team contributing to the strategy and direction of the company; 5–year MTP (Mid Term Plan)
• Overall responsibility for a multi million pound annual Marketing Budget
• Embody & display the qualities associated with exceptional leadership, drive performance, achieve results & develop a high performing team
  • Set challenging objectives that stretch the team
  • Measure the performance of the team using 1–2–1 meetings
  • Create team development plans that provide a talent pipeline & support the company in succession planning & development
  • Create an environment, systems & processes that support creativity, continuous improvement and a positive work culture
  • Work with the appropriate internal contracts to create & support individual learning & training plans
• Closely working with the 2 UK head of sales and KAD to formulate Sector plans for the year in line with overall Strategic objectives of the business
• Liaise and closely work with Group Marketing on yearly pan European campaigns and branding decisions on the local brand
• Workng closely with Group Product Management to ensure the UK product strategy and requirements are met with regard to NPD
• To lead the company in developing managing and delivering the annual UK Sales and Marketing plan
• Working closely with Key Customer Accounts via regular meetings with their Head Office Marketing and Commercial departments. Ensuring Sales and Marketing plans are aligned including bespoke initiatives
• Manage all the UK and Ireland training and showroom facilities

Key Requirements:

• Ideally educated to degree or equivalent with a business and marketing bias
• An experienced manager with a track record of managing Marketing Communications or Product Management functions
• Experience of working the UK Construction industry
• Strategic thinker with positive management skills able to motivate and support a large team
• Tenacious, hardworking and results driven
• Excellent PC skills in particular MS Windows applications (Excel/Word and PowerPoint)
• Flexibility Successfully adapting to changing demands and conditions
• Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and oral, and be skilled at preparing and delivering presentations
• Must be well organised, able to plan own work and self–start and manage others
• Persuasiveness influences, convinces, or impresses others in a way that results in acceptance, agreement or behaviour change
• Demonstrates a readiness to make decisions, take the initiative and originate action whilst ensuring a high degree of integrity and accountability
• Personal motivation Commits self to working hard towards goals, Shows enthusiasm and career commitment
