Position: Science/Maths Teacher
Location: Redditch
Contract: Full-time in term time
Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in both science and maths subjects to secondary school students.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and department heads to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Utilise available resources and pre-planned lessons to effectively convey complex scientific and mathematical concepts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Provide timely feedback and support to students to facilitate their academic progress and personal growth.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification is desired.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science and maths education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
