The Vehicle Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering vehicles to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. The driver will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are delivered in working condition and that all paperwork is completed correctly.
Day-to-day duties but not limited to:
Carry out collection and delivery of customer vehicles all over the UK.
100% Positive customer service to meet with customer and company demands
Completing all relevant paperwork with the customer, ensuring that the customer is treated in a professional and effective manner.
Deliver vehicles to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner
Complete all paperwork correctly and return to relevant admin departments
To drive vehicles in a safe, lawful manner taking into account the weather and traffic conditions, reporting any faults with the vehicles you drive
Complete vehicle condition reports on courtesy vehicles and customer vehicles
Ensure all documentation is correct when transferring vehicles
Report any accidents/incidents to your manager without delay
Essential skills and Experience:
Valid driver’s license
Clean driver’s licence
Positive customer service
Organisation
Punctual
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and handling
The driver will work closely with the Sales and Administrators, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure that all deliveries are completed efficiently and without any delays.
Personal Circumstances:
Full UK/EU Driving Licence
Eligible to work in the UK
What we offer:
Hourly Rate: £11.50ph with overtime payable when 160 in a 4 week pay cycle or 200 hours in a 5 week pay cycle have been reached.
Typical working hours: 40 hours per week. Flexible, Early starts or late finishes. Monday to Friday
Annual holiday entitlement in any holiday year is 28 days, inclusive of all public holiday entitlement. Following the completion of 5 years’ continuous service, holiday entitlement will increase by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 33 days inclusive of bank holidays
Pension 5% employee and 3% employer contribution
