Architectural Technologist Job in Newcastle, Tyne and Wear

Architectural Technologist job now available with one of the leading surveying firms in the UK . They are now looking to expand their architectural team in their Newcastle studio. This role offers a salary of up to £50,000 and a bonus scheme.

They are looking for an Architectural Technologist with a background in Education projects in the UK, The successful applicant would be working alongside their building surveyors, property managers, and the wider architectural team to deliver a range of Education projects.

Role & Responsibilities

• Attending site visits and answering queries as they come up
• Liaise with Contractors, Stakeholders and Clients
• Preparing planning and building regulation application
• Running projects from concept to completion, having ownership of these projects and managing their resources
• Assist the building surveying teams by producing tender packages
• Communicating with clients and external consultants
• Working across all RIBA stages.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience UK experience
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency is essential
• Experience with NBS specification writing
• Experience on previous education projects is essential desirable experience on commercial industrial or healthcare
• Proven experience managing projects
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• ACIAT or MCIAT is desirable, relevant degree is essential
• A full, clean UK driving license is required as you will be travelling to client sites within this role.
