Job description

Central Recruitment are working with a Manufacturing Company in Accrington, recruiting for a Laser Operator

Duties will include:

• Operate laser cutting machines to cut and shape sheet metal according to specifications
• Set up and adjust machine settings for optimal performance
• Monitor machine operation and ensure quality control standards are met
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to design specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the machine

Experience

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques
• Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Knowledge of hand tools and tooling used in metalworking
• Mechanical knowledge to understand machine operation and make adjustments as needed

Candidates applying for this position must have previous experience in a similar role,
Day shift hours between 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Full time Overtime opportunities
Accessible from Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Oswaldtwistle

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Salary : £11.06-£13.14 per hour
