Personal Tax Senior

Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working on behalf of a leading, highly regarded regional firm of accountants who are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to join the team in their Carlisle office.
The role will involve managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.
As well as the day to day compliance work for your clients, you will be involved with the provision of services to more complex clients and will support managers in providing tax planning advice to your clients.
The ideal candidate will be ATT Qualified or may have commenced their CTA studies. Experience of working in a Personal Tax work focused role is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of personal tax returns
Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff
Identifying tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Assisting the partners with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts when require
Skills:
ATT Qualified / CTA Students
Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment
