Are you a skilled Production Planner looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our growing engineering organization located on the outskirts of Southampton near to Eastleigh and play a pivotal role in our dynamic team!
Key Responsibilities for the Production Planner will be:
- As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring on-time material availability for both legacy product and the spares department.
- Utilize your expertise in SAP to streamline production processes and optimize material flow.
- Leverage Power BI and Excel to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to enhance production efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer demands and organizational goals.
- Actively monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize shortages and excess inventory, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Continuously evaluate production processes and identify areas for improvement to drive operational excellence.
- Provide regular reports and updates on production performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Requirements and skills for the appointed Production Planner are:
- Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong proficiency in SAP, with the ability to effectively navigate and utilize its functionalities.
- Experience working with Demand Forecast in an engineering manufacturing environment.
- Advanced skills in Power BI and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Renumeration and Benefits rewarded are:
- £38k - £45k (Depending on experience)
