Sheridan Maine are partnering with a leading business based in Weymouth to recruit for a Finance Assistant, with a strong commercial awareness to support their finance function. The business has undergone dramatic change and expansion recently, with further plans for growth.
We are looking for someone who is results driven with strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business, with the ability to handle pressure and rapidly changing demands in a fast paced dynamic, customer centric environment.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with senior management
- Supporting the Finance Manager with the monthly management accounts
- Processing month end journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly accruals and prepayments
- Managing fast changing priorities
- Driving improvements which will streamline and simplify reporting requirements
- Supporting the finance function by ensuring that all financial data is processed efficiently and accurately
To be successful, you should be studying towards the AAT qualification, be passionate and detail orientated, with experience in a similar role along with strong Excel skills.
