Health & Safety Administrator Letchworth, Hertfordshire

Up to £32,500 per annum plus pension

Our client is a privately owned and operated construction company with traditional values. As part of their continued growth, they have a requirement for a Health and Safety Administrator to join their team in North Hertfordshire.

This is not a traditional site-based health and safety role, although occasional visits may be required. It is more of a compliance role, with the main emphasis being contract administration, ensuring insurance policies are up to date and method/risk assessments are carried out and recorded. You will work closely with the contracts management team to coordinate the data flow, accurately maintaining their system, checking CSCS cards, health and safety certifications and CDM requirements are up to date.

Its likely applicants will be from a building background having worked in Health and Safety Co-ordination or Administration. NEBOSH certification would be advantageous or a willingness to undertake the necessary training. You will need to have had some prior exposure in one of these areas working for a building contractor.

A good aptitude of both spoken and written English is key and proficient with Microsoft based applications to include Excel, Outlook and Word.
