Our Job Opportunity

As the College continues to strengthen its specialist learning provision, we are looking for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Wellbeing Lead to join our diverse and supportive team on a fixed term, term time only contract until 31 May 2025.

Our aim is to create positive learning experiences for all and embed each learner’s independence and skills for life in line with their unique needs. You should be able to provide holistic and integrated wellness and educational support to students who identify as having special educational needs (SEN). You will develop and provide supportive targeted interventions to students, as appropriate such as emotional literacy development, resilience building, social interaction and mental health first aid support.

An effective communicator and team player, you will establish and maintain positive relationships with the students, their families, and carers, tutors, SEN Leads and LSAs, as well as external support agencies such as CAMHS. This is a wide and varied role including the design and implementation of varied interventions in response to the unique and individual needs of the students, monitoring the effectiveness of therapies and interventions whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the students at all times. You will have at least three years of experience in working with students with special needs and knowledge of SEN such as Autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge.
