We are seeking a Security Operative for our client, based in Carrickfergus..
Responsibilities
- Follow on site security requirements including but not limited to internal and external patrols.
- Liaise with the External security contractor regarding scheduled maintenance, repairs.
- Monitoring CCTV cameras and footage.
- Access control and monitoring of employees, visitors and vehicles according to procedures.
- Searching contractor vehicles as and when required.
- Report any security events in the onsite log.
- Assisting with emergency situations including but not limited to security alert and evacuations.
- Support emergency services.
- Train as a company First Aider
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Must have a Security Industry Authority Licence
- At least 2 years relevant experience
- Flexible to do whatever work is required of him/her within the working day
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
