Powder Coater
Leicester
£11.00 - £12.00 per hour
8am – 4.30pm

Permanent Role
Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Powder Coater for a Manufacturing company based in Leicester. This is a position suited to candidates with experience powder coating on various metals as well as material preparation such as sanding and cleaning.
Role responsibilities –
- For the role of Powder Coater, you will prepare parts for coating.
- Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application.
- Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems.
- Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
- Determine powder flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
- Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations.
- Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash, and pre-treatments
- Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
- Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility for the role of Powder Coater.
- Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.
- Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures
- Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of powder coating equipment
Role requirements –
- You will be required to have a strong background in powder coating.
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently without daily supervision.
