Job Role: M&E Design Technician

Area: Medway Towns

Salary: £65k - £70k

My client is looking for a M&E Design Technician to work closely with the directors. It is essential you have experience in a M&E Design background.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing the technical M&E design of assigned projects.
• Produce MEP designs, calculations & specifications using relevant software provided.
• Monitor the production of drawings to ensure timescales are met & QA once complete to ensure technical accuracy & consistency.
• Undertake initial design site surveys to capture all relevant information for CAD draughtsman & internal design team to utilise throughout design process.
• Produce energy modelling assessments and presentations as required.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Produce energy modelling assessments and presentations.
• Experience in relevant design software, such as Revit, Hevacomp, AutoCAD
• Understanding of current Building Regulations & accredited services: CIBSE, ASHRAE
• Ability to plan & prioritise workload to meet deadlines
