Responsible for the management of strategic Procurement activity and other bespoke procurement / strategic projects within the Trusts supported by the NMBC throughout the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent and Black Country Integrated Care Systems (ICS's), ensuring compliance with the NMBC Procurement Policy, EU Legislation, UK Law and relevant Trust Standing Financial Instructions.
Effectively lead elements of the Strategic Procurement Team in delivery of all relevant objectives and influencing / managing the host Trust and other customers' of the NMBC within the Staffordshire / Stoke-on-Trent and Black Country ICS's. Contribute to the development of the NMBC's role within the Host Trust and other customers' of the NMBC within the Staffordshire / Stoke-on-Trent and Black Country ICS's. To take the corporate lead on identified commercial issues and key commodity areas providing accurate, timely and up to date advice to the Group Deputy Director / Head of Procurement - Strategic Sourcing & Special Projects; particularly where they are business critical for the Trusts who are the recipients of the service.The Successful Applicant
Specialist procurement and supply chain knowledge acquired through MCIPS, post graduate study and extensive practical experience, i.e. minimum 5 years Procurement related management experience at a senior level.
