Job description
We are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to join a dynamic business on a 12-month fixed term contract.
You will be immediately available with management responsibility for a small finance team. This role will be working in the Colchester and London offices.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing the finance team
- Implementing and maintaining new processes, procedures and controls
- Management of the day-to-day Cashflow reporting and accurate forecasting to the Board
- Responsible for management accounts, including the monthly and annual close processes
- Handle the organisations external and internal audit services
- Ownership of the full reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Experience of handling a system implementation would be beneficial
Key skills:
- You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Experience of leading a finance team
- Excellent communication skills and a self-starter attitude
