Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to join a dynamic business on a 12-month fixed term contract. 

 
You will be immediately available with management responsibility for a small finance team. This role will be working in the Colchester and London offices.

 
Responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing the finance team
• Implementing and maintaining new processes, procedures and controls
• Management of the day-to-day Cashflow reporting and accurate forecasting to the Board
• Responsible for management accounts, including the monthly and annual close processes
• Handle the organisations external and internal audit services
• Ownership of the full reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Experience of handling a system implementation would be beneficial

 
Key skills:

• You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)

• Experience of leading a finance team
• Excellent communication skills and a self-starter attitude
