Specialist conveyor manufacturers urgently seek an experienced Service Engineer to join their busy team based in Lancashire providing bespoke materials handling solutions.

Service Engineer- The Role:

• Install & Commission of bespoke equipment at customer sites
• Attending service breakdowns and maintaining machinery/equipment
• Assisting with pre-commissioning & testing at company factory
• Building/assembling company equipment including drive systems
• Training customers when on site

Service Engineer- The Person:

• Must be prepared to travel 50% of your time and stay away when required
• Mechanical build/assembly experience is essential
• Able to fault find and mechanically service equipment
• Any electrical experience would also be highly beneficial
• C onveyor experience highly advantageous

This is a UK based travelling role therefore flexibility is key and you must be willing to stay away and work some weekends. When not on customer sites, you will be based in the factory working on testing and build of new machinery.

Located in North West, this role would be commutable from Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale & Rossendale.

To be considered for this role, we are seeking a Service Engineer that ideally has experience with conveyors, however background of automated machinery, mechanical handling or materials handling would be excellent.

The ideal candidate will also be able to identify opportunities where a better solution may be able to be applied to a situation and upsell and communicate the benefits.
