Award winning Manchester based law firm has an opportunity available for a c.5 year PQE solicitor to join their successful Corporate team. Clients are based nationwide and span a variety of sectors.
Role details: - Team player who will assist with driving larger transactions.
- Running smaller transactions and less complex non-transactional work.
- Development of the individual’s technical expertise and commercial acumen to ensure provision of pragmatic solutions to clients.
- Involved in the supervision and development of less experienced members of the team.
- In addition to M&A work, you will be advising on on corporate restructuring work, investments and JV/shareholder agreements, LLP and partnership agreements and general company advice.
- Some AIM/plc work.
Skills and experience required:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of PQE in corporate work including advisory services and M&A transactions.
- Have a proven track record in client care at a level appropriate to your experience.
- Establish a strong rapport with clients and attract repeat work from the quality of the service they provide.
- Work well independently and with others, providing supervision of more junior team members and support to partners in the team where needed, taking on feedback and committing to your own development.
- Would like to work in a values driven organisation, and progress based on your demonstrable abilities.
- Are able to work flexibly whilst recognising the need to attend the office and clients’ premises where needed to meet the requirements of the role.
On offer: - Negotiable salary in the range of £55-75k doe.
