Job Summary:
We are currently working with a client who are looking for a part time Nanny to join their family from March/April to look after their 2.5 year old daughter and newborn. The family are kind, friendly and loving but also a busy household which is located between Dalston and Stoke Newington. The ideal candidate will be experienced with newborns and toddlers. The role is sole charge role, however, as mum is on maternity leave the nanny will need to be comfortable with mum being around the house.
General duties:
• Playing and entertaining
• Laundry for the children
• Cooking and feeding the children
• Keeping their areas neat and tidy
• Putting toys away
• Nursery pick up (walking distance) or staying at home with the baby while mum does the pick up
• Age appropriate activities
• Changing nappies
• Giving the 2 year old her dinner
• Bath and bed time
Candidate requirements:
• Experience with toddlers and newborns
• Good communication skills
• Someone with a willing and can do attitude
• Firm but fair – keeping the children in good routines and giving them boundaries
DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
