Job description
Grade: NJC SCP 42 – 45 (£50,512 – £54,017 per annum), plus annual pay rise as awarded by the NJC and Local Government Pension Scheme. Plus Generous Local Government Average Salary Pension Scheme
Contract Period : Permanent
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Leave Entitlement: 23 days per annum, plus two statutory days, plus bank/public holidays.

Bridgwater Town Council is now seeking a dynamic and proactive Director of Finance & Corporate Services (RFO) to provide the day-to-day, medium and long-term financial management of the Council’s finances and to manage the Council’s financial affairs within the legal framework of local authorities ensuring compliance with current legislation.
The Director of Finance & Corporate Services will lead the Corporate Services Team effectively, co-ordinate and ensure the effective delivery of administrative and financial activities across a broad range of the Council’s services, working as part of the Team and contributing to the achievement of the Council’s objectives and working with the Town Clerk/CEO to help develop and maintain information and monitoring systems that are accurate and up to date at all times.
